These Surgeon designed Flexmeter gloves have both the upper 'Flexmeter' splint as well as a palm side splint built in, thus providing maximum protection against snowboarding wrist injuries. The unique upper wrist 'Flexmeter' splint has been specifically designed by a leading French sports injury surgeon, based at the medical centre in Avoriaz. This splint is fully integrated into the gloves. 

The gloves offer the maximum protection and support so are particularly recommended for those with any previous wrist injuries or those who are learning to snowboard. But they can of course also be used by all levels of snowboarders! These gloves are a great buy if you don't already have gloves, or would like the ease of a fully integrated (wrist guard and glove) solution .

• The integrated splints are flexible but durable: allows full mobility of the wrist while protecting it against fractures and breaks.
• The Flexmeter wrist guards built into the gloves are made of thermoplastic Hytrel® by Dupont, which provides enhanced flexibility and shock absorption.
• Each Hytrel® splint covers the full wrist and both on and under the dorsal forearm to prevent wrist hyperextension and to absorb compression forces. The palm splint is removable.
• The gloves are each secured by two wrist straps for a precision fit. The gloves incorporate 3M Thinsulate™ Insulation (100 gram) and NexTex™ waterproof/breathable lining in their construction, for superior thermal insulation to keep your hands warm and dry on the slopes.
• The gloves also each include: a long cuff with easy-pull tensioner; a wrist loop to secure the glove for safe removal on lift chairs; and additional protective padding on the palm, knuckles and fingers.
• To best fit the gloves, pull them right up, then secure the strap around your wrist firmly first. Then secure the second strap further up your arm (this one does not have to be extremely tight, it just needs to hold the glove in place).
